Background
National Highway Authority (NHA) with the assistance of the Infrastructure Project Development Facility (IPDF), Ministry of Finance intended to develop a Railway Overhead Bridge at Habibabad under the Public Private Partnership (PPP). The existing bridge constructed in 1986 needed major rehabilitation and geometric improvement to attain the design speed (110Km/Hour) as currently implemented on National Highway. Construction of new flyover was entrusted to FWO on BOT basis during April 2014 for a concession period of 10 years with the following benefits:-
